An item was added or purchased from my partner registry. Why isn't it updated on Cana?

If you recently added gifts or if the purchased status of an item from a partner registry like Amazon, Crate & Barrel, Target, or Macy’s, those items may not appear in Cana right away. Partner registry items sync automatically each night, so updates can take up to 24 hours to show up in your Cana registry.

Why this happens

Cana does not update partner registries instantly. Instead, linked partner registry items are refreshed during the nightly sync. That means if you add, remove, or change items on the partner’s site, you may need to wait until the next sync cycle for those changes to appear.

What your guests will see

Even if your newest items have not appeared in Cana yet, guests can still shop your registry. When a guest clicks a partner registry item in Cana, they are taken to your partner registry’s landing page, where they can view the most current version of your registry and see all recently added items.

This means your partner registry is still up to date for guests, even while Cana is waiting for the next nightly sync.

What to check

Make sure:

  • Your partner registry was successfully linked in Cana

  • You added the items directly on the partner’s registry site

  • The registry URL you linked is still correct and accessible

  • Your registry is set to Shareable or Public
