How to Link a Partner Registry

Linking a partner registry lets you bring gifts from supported stores like Amazon, Crate & Barrel, Target, Macy’s, and more into your Cana registry so they can be appear on your wedding website. Once linked, your partner registry items will sync to Cana automatically within 24 hours.

Before you start

Make sure you already have a registry created with one of Cana’s supported partner stores or brands. You’ll also need the shareable registry URL from that store.

Note: your registry must be set to Shareable or Public before Cana can import it.

How to link your partner registry

  1. Open your registry in Cana.

  2. Go to the option to add a partner registry.

  3. Select the store or brand you want to connect.

  4. If you have not created a registry with that partner yet, use the Create a [Store] registry link.

  5. Add items to your registry on the partner’s website.

  6. Copy your registry’s shareable URL from the partner site.

  7. Paste that URL into the Registry URL field in Cana.

  8. Click Submit.

If the link works, Cana will import the items from that registry and add them to your gift list.

What happens after linking

Your partner registry items are automatically synced to Cana each night. If you make changes on the partner’s site, those updates may take up to 24 hours to appear in Cana.

If you add the same partner registry more than once, Cana will recognize it and avoid duplicating it.

Troubleshooting

If no items appear, double-check that:

  • The URL is valid and complete

  • You copied the public or shareable registry link

  • The registry has items in it

  • For Amazon, the registry visibility is set to Shareable or Public
