Cana lets you add custom RSVP questions to each event on your Guest List. This is useful for collecting meal selections, transportation needs, song requests, dietary restrictions, or any other event-specific details from guests.
To add a question:
Open your Guest List and select the event you want to edit.
In the event settings, scroll to the RSVP Questions section.
Click Add Question.
Enter the question you want guests to answer.
Next, choose the type of question:
Dropdown is best for questions with preset answers, like meal choices.
Free Response is best for open-ended answers, like allergies or notes.
If you choose Dropdown, add each answer option one at a time in the Options field, pressing Enter after each one. Then set the Max Choice Count to control how many answers a guest can select. For example, use 1 for a single meal choice, or a higher number if guests can choose more than one option.
If needed, turn on "Is Required?" to make sure guests must answer before submitting their RSVP.
When guests RSVP, these questions appear only after they mark themselves as attending that event. Required questions must be completed before the RSVP can be submitted.
You can also edit or remove RSVP questions later. For multiple-choice questions, Cana shows answer totals inside the event editor so you can quickly see how many guests selected each option.
You might create a custom RSVP question for:
Meal preference: Chicken, Fish, Vegetarian
Shuttle needed: Yes or No
Song request: Free response
Dietary restrictions: Free response
