1. Click on Menu in Upper-Right Corner
2. Click on Guest List
3. Click on Guest List Import
4. (Optional) Click on Download Excel Template
If you are starting your guest list for the first time, download the Excel Template, or open the Google Sheets Template and click File > Make a Copy to create a Google Sheets copy that you can edit. If you already have your guest list in your own format, proceed to the next step, where you will be able to use Cana's Smart Import feature to import from any spreadsheet template format.
5. Click on Continue
6. Select "Choose File" and select your Guest List file, or copy-and-paste the entire sheet into the Option B text box
7. If an error is detected, choose "Fix Import Data" or "Try Smart Import"
If you are using the Cana Excel or Google Sheets template, it is usually quicker to simply modify your spreadsheet and re-upload. However, if you are using a custom template or having issues with the Standard Import, click "Try Smart Import".
8. Once your Guest Groups are extracted from your spreadsheet, choose which Events you would like these new Guests to be invited to
Cana does not currently send out email or SMS invitations. When a guest is invited to an event in Cana, this means that they will be able to RSVP to that event from your Wedding Website.
9. Once you have many any final changes to the table of new Guest Groups as necessary, click on Submit Guests
